Welcome to the blog, I am Cookie Klag, your hostess.
My purpose for creating this blog is to reignite the fire in us all to self-educate. It is a struggle and a pain, but the only way to we can all relearn to think for ourselves is to read, research and yes, expose ourselves to people who would make us physically ill. To be honest Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin always make want to send away for Canadian citizenship paperwork.
Once upon a time, three or four generations ago, we had grandparents that learned how to speak English, watch Hollywood movies. They gathered daily around the newsstand they way this generation swarm an Apple store whenever a new iPhone comes out.
So what happened? Well, the generation in between is what happened. The generation raised with lower expectations ended up raising the generation of self importance and an endless supply of laziness.
But that blog is for later.
The title of this introduction, I hope says it all. It comes from the brilliant and funny Graig Furguson, who was singing about another brilliant and funny man, Dr. Who.
I hope it somehow, it will not only become the mantra of this blog, but for all those who read it. Join me, some post will be political, social and funny. Others will just be really dumb. Who am I to lie?
